Daffodil International University came into being on 24th January 2002 with the approval of the Ministry of Education under the Private University Act 1992 with its amendment in 1998. The result of the sincere efforts and initiative of our country's leading conglomerate Daffodil Group is Daffodil International University. This University has opened up ample opportunities for higher education in business, science and technology. Daffodil International University has been running the Department of Innovation & Entrepreneurship with some core educationists of the country to build future Bangladesh.

Daffodil International University's mission is defined by its IT-based traditions of service and access.
