Daffodil International University Film Society and DIU Creative Park Club organizes the Short Video competition in online summer fest 2020 during this Quarantine period. The aim of the festival is to show that a Film can be made just being indoor without going outdoor or public gathering. The Short Video competition inspires all the enough Film makers to maintain their creativity staying home during this pandemic situation.

The Rules and Regulations of the Film Festival:

·         The Film must be shot or created within last 3 months (Quarantine period).

·         The Film must be shot indoor. Using shot taken from Public places might disqualify the participant.

·         Use of previously shot films or scene is prohibited.

·         Participants must be from Daffodil International University.

·         The film can be shot on any device (DSLR, Camcorder, Mobile Phone etc.).

·         Film duration must be within 2-5 minutes including credits.

·         Film makers should use Copyright free sound/music. If not used, proper credit must be given at the end of the film.

·         Entry can be in Solo or group. (Maximum 3 members for group)

·         Entry fee for Solo is 100 BDT per film and entry fee for Group is 250 BDT per Film.

·         The Film resolution must be minimum 720p.

·         The Festival authority holds the right to publish the film Online for Show or Promotional purpose of the festival.

·         Films containing pornographic or graphic sexual content, hateful content of any kind (including racism, Sexism etc.) content will be  disqualified.

·         Copying or stealing any Idea/Film may disqualify the participant.

·         Video Format: mp4/ avi/ Blue-Ray

·         Film must be subtitled with English if other languages rather than Bangla & English are used.

 

Judgment:

·         Video screening and shortlisted by the internal jury(DIU Faculty and Admin personnel)

·         Total marks will be 100

·         80% Marks on video production

·         20% Marks will be public vote

·          Waste Material-Craft (Home Made)

·          Dance Competition (Single)

অংশগ্রহনের নিয়মাবলি..

১.বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের  অধ্যায়ণরত  ছাত্র-ছাত্রী হতে হবে

২.হস্তশিল্পটি অবশ্যই আপনার নিজের বানানো হতে হবে। 

৩.ইন্টারনেট হতে ডাউনলোড করা ভিডিও দিয়ে অংশগ্রহন করতে পারবেন না, সেইসাথে পরিচিতদের তৈরি করা হস্তশিল্পের ভিডি তুলেও প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশগ্রহন করতে পারবেন না।

৪. আপনার তৈরিকৃত সুন্দর হস্তশিল্পটির নামটিও মেনশন করতে হবে ।

৫.ভিডিওর ব্যাপ্তিকাল সর্বোচ্চ - ৫ মিনিট

৬.ভিডিও পাঠানোর সময়কাল -২৭ই জুন রাত ১১.৫৯  মিনিট পর্যন্ত।

Online Summer Fest Present “Intra University Dance Fest 2020”

Eligibility: 

1. Each participant has to be a present student at Daffodil International University. 

Dance Categories:

1. Hip-hop

2. Classical

3. Contemporary

4. Robotics

5. Fusion 

6. Free-style

Terms And Conditions: 

1. Each participant will have a maximum time period of "5 (Five) minutes" for her performances.

2. "Hindi" songs are completely prohibited.

3. Any "Vulgar" songs or steps are not allowed.

Registration Procedures:

1. The registration fee is 100 BDT.

2. Participants need to confirm his/her registration.

3. The video submission deadline is 27 Jun 2020.

Art Competition

Art is a diverse range of human activities in creating visual ,expressing the author's imaginative, conceptual ideas, or technical skill, intended to be appreciated for their beauty or emotional power. In their most general form these activities include the production of works of art, the criticism of art, the study of the history of art, and the aesthetic dissemination of art.

ELIGIBILITY:

Any student of Daffodil International University can participate in this festival.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

1. Both sketch/paint and digital art work are acceptable.

2. The participant can use any color. For example: pencil, pastel, water, oil painting etc.

3. The arts idea and work must be done solely by the participant.

4. Organization has the right to modify the terms and conditions of the competition at any time.

·         The timing should not more than 3 minutes.

·         The video should be indoor.

·         Vulgar jokes are not allowed.

·         English & Bangla both languages are allowed.

·         Jokes about any well-known figure are not allowed.

·         Insulting or criticize someone are not allowed.

 

SHORT STORY WRITING:

·         Word limitation- 150 word.

Rules  : 

·          There will be 30 questions provided. (30 Marks)

·          All the questions must be answered within 30 minutes.

·          Negative marking will be applied. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

·          Questions will be provided in a google form.

·          Google form will be sent to the participants via email.
