Human Resource is the heart of an organization and form the lifeline and determine its destiny. The realization of the mission of the organization rests on the commitment of the personnel engaged for various assignments and tasks. Qualified and well-trained human resource is necessary to fulfill the goals and objectives of the University. DIU is committed to setting high standards of personnel Management with due scope for efficiency and transparency. The Board of Trustees who assists in the implementation of the management activities and academic programs and projects demands a comprehensive Human Resource Management Policies covering policies and procedures that will provide the appropriate atmosphere for work.
This Policy constitutes its Service Rule and a set of standard policies and guidelines for effective Human Resource Management and Human Resource Development in DIU. This Policy reflects the organization’s Mission, basic Human Resources Management & Development, Human Resources Management, and Gender-Sensitive Policies, Rules, Procedures, and Practices within which the organization interacts with its employees and provides a framework for logical decision and institutional development.
The policies have been formulated based on an analysis of existing DIU policies and practices, the recommendations of employees, Management, and Board of Trustees’ representatives. The rules, policies, and practices are consistent with the spirit and intent of customary and labor laws & regulations and are devised within the limits of sound economic operations.
